Interested in studying at the Kinneret Academic College?

    Applicants must meet the following admission requirements:

    1. Full matriculation certificate with a grade of at least 70 that includes:
    • 4 units in English with a grade of at least 60.
    • 4 units in mathematics with a grade of at least 80 or 5 units with a grade of at

    least 70.

    • 5 units in physics with a grade of at least 70.
    • Psychometric test score of at least 550 or psycho-technical test score of at least 630. *Comment: referral to the psychotechnic test through a study advisor.
    • Applicants who do not meet the mathematics and physics requirements may be admitted based on a physics and/or mathematics preparatory program.

    Certified engineering technicians:

    • An engineering technician diploma from the Government Institute for Technology and Science Training or the Ministry of Education.
    • A grade transcript with an average grade of 75 and above on the external tests [Government Institute for Technology and Science Training].
    • Entitlement to an approved Israeli matriculation certificate with a grade of at least 70 / a matriculation certificate from abroad.
    • Exemption from psychometric / psycho-technical test.
    • English grade: 4 units with a grade of at least 60.
    • Applicants without the required matriculation level in mathematics and/or physics will be required to complete a preparatory physics and/or mathematics program.

    Persons 30+ years of age:

    • Must present a matriculation certificate or a matriculation alternative (preparatory program).
    • A psychometric test score of at least 550 or a psycho-technical test score of at least 630. Exemption to individuals holding an engineering technician diploma with an average grade of 75 and above on the external tests [Government Institute for Technology and Science Training].
    • Applicants without the required matriculation level in mathematics and/or physics will be required to complete a preparatory physics and/or mathematics program.

     

     

    Engineering-specific preparatory program:

    • Graduates of an engineering-specific preparatory program with a grade of at least 70 in mathematics and physics, and a psychometric test score of at lest 550 or a psycho-technical test score of at least 630.

     

     

    1. English: Admitted students who do not have a psychometric test score must take the AMIR English Proficiency Test that will be conducted at the Kinneret Academic College or take the test conducted by the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation.
    2. Hebrew: Applicants who took the psychometric test in a language other than Hebrew and/or the instruction language in the high school they attended was not Hebrew, must present their score on the YAEL Hebrew Proficiency Test.

     

    Admission committee: in exceptional cases the committee will consider the admission of applicants who do not meet the requirements specified above. The share of the exceptional cases shall not exceed 10%.

    If you do not meet the admission requirements – register for the pre-academic preparatory programs-

    Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements can participate in an engineering-specific pre-academic preparatory program – for applicants with a full or partial matriculation certificate that meet the pre-admission requirements.
