The Department of Multidisciplinary Studies at Kinneret College on the Sea of Galilee is a multicultural learning-environment, reflecting the rich and diverse ethnic experience of life in the north of Israel, Arab and Jewish.
We take particular pride in that – and in the extensive support system that we provide for our many hundreds of students, the majority of them first generation students for an academic degree.
The challenge is often great but the level of personal advancement and excellence we encounter – and the life-changing experiences that many students report – is a constant inspiration to our staff.
The motto of our department is taken from the English philosopher of science Francis Bacon – Knowledge is Power – and in this light we teach, in order to empower our students through learning and understanding.
