2) תרכוב של פולימרים, חומרים מרוכבים וננו-מרוכבים (שיטות מנתיות ורציפות).
• פולימרים מתקדמים וחומרים ננו-מרוכבים: פיזור של ננו-חלקיקים אורגאניים ואנאורגאניים (carbon nanotubes, graphene, carbon black, titania, silica, etc.) במדיות שונות, באמצעות טכניקות שונות (in-situ polymerization, compounding, etc.).
• תכונות הידרופיליות והידרופוביות.
• משטחים אנטי-מיקרוביאלים ומונעי אילוח ביולוגי.
• פולימרים וחומרים מרוכבים מוליכי חשמל.
• אפיון פולימרים וחומרים מרוכבים: מורפולוגיה (SEM, HRSEM), תכונות תרמיות (TGA, DSC), תכונות ריאולוגיות (rotational and capillary rheology, Brookfield), תכונות מכאניות (Instron, DMTA), תכונות חשמליות (2-points. 4-points, TLM) ועוד.
