ד"ר אלכסנדר מנביץ, הינו בוגר לימודי דוקטורט במגמה לפסיכולוגיה קלינית באוניברסיטת חיפה. כיום, מכהן כחבר סגל בכיר במחלקות לפסיכולוגיה ולמדעי ההתנהגות במכללה האקדמית כנרת, כמו גם כעמית מחקר במעבדה הבין-לאומית לחקר אובדן, שכול וחוסן נפשי בביה"ס למדעי הפסיכולוגיה באוניברסיטת חיפה. מחקריו של ד"ר מנביץ מתמקדים בסוגיות של אובדן ושכול, טיפול פליאטיבי ופסיכוגרונטולוגיה קלינית.
