Research Authority drives the college’s research advancement by securing diverse funding from scientific foundations, government bodies, and private institutions both locally and internationally. Through targeted donor engagement and comprehensive fund management, the Authority enables research initiatives across the institution.
Our overarching goal is supporting faculty at every career stage, particularly early-career researchers. The Research Authority focuses on strengthening international research profiles, fostering competitive research activities, and facilitating publication in prestigious global forums. As the central coordinator of research activities, the Authority oversees the college’s research institutes and bridges collaboration with the Kinneret Innovation Center, advancing both regional economic development and faculty research opportunities.
The Research Authority pursues these key objectives:
Identify and communicate research funding opportunities from domestic and international sources
Guide researchers through project development, management, and grant administration
Facilitate relationships with funding bodies, including contract negotiations and regulatory compliance
Foster researcher development through mentoring, academic writing workshops, and grant proposal training
Build and maintain connections with funding representatives while advocating for college researchers
Ensure proper grant utilization that satisfies both funder requirements and institutional standards
Strengthen researchers’ international standing through targeted professional development initiatives
