Kinneret Student Dormitories

The New Student Dormitories of the Kinneret College on the Sea of Galilee

The New Student Dormitories are part of the campus of Kinneret College on the Sea of Galilee:
The new Student Dormitories are located on the campus of Kinneret College on the Sea of Galilee. The campus borders on the Sea of Galilee, to the north and the fields of the Jordan Valley to the south.

The student dormitories contain around 250 beds, in three buildings, and comprise a very varied range of housing.

At the front of the dormitories you can see the restored Semakh Railway Station which has been converted into the Center for Land of Israel Studies, and an open visitors’ center which tells the story of the Valley Train, the Semakh Station and the region as a whole.

A great deal of thought was invested in the new student dormitories, both with regard to the living conditions and to the student experience after study hours.

In addition to studies and a unique center devoted to the love of, and information about, the Land of Israel, the site will offer leisure facilities for students.

The green fields of the Jordan Valley lie to the rear of the dormitories
From the windows of the dormitories one can see a unique Israeli landscape: the Sea of Galilee stretches out beneath the windows, along with the fields of the Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights, the Gilead region, the intersection of three borders, Mount Berniki, Tsefat, Tiberias and a view which can only be seen in this part of Israel.
